The 1957/2008 pickups offered standard on the 1957/2008 LTD allow players to achieve both vintage and modern sounds. PRS obtained exclusive rights to the original pickup wire used in the most revered pickups in the '50s. PRS obtained the rights to the wire in 2008, and 1957 was the year the humbucker was first commercially available, giving rise to the 1957/2008 name. Stating the obvious, this guitar looks amazing... But the real treat is when you plug her in. The sound is like nothing you've ever heard before! This is a stunning and amazing instrument... 100% original and unmessed with! No disappointments here!

She was born on April 17th, 2009 and has been totally babied. I just picked this up from the original owner, who handled this guitar with "kid gloves". It has only been played, sparingly and gently in a smoke-free atmosphere. There are no nicks, dings or scratches to be found on this sweet axe. She's just a clean machine, and begging to be played! The neck is straight with no cracks or repairs... the frets are excellent with their entire life ahead of them... and the sound is out of this world! Also included is the original PRS hard shell case, and includes all of the case candy, adjustment tools and bird tag certificate (as shown in the pics)! Whoever wins this sweet axe is is going to be completely STOKED!!
