1972 Martin D-41 Acoustic

38 YEARS OLD AND GOING STRONG!

You are looking at a 1972 Martin D-41 acoustic guitar with a Spruce top, Rosewood back & sides and tons of sweet tone! The D-41 is one of the more trimmed out Martin models, which has plenty of Abalone bling to feast your eyes on. She's also loaded with the cool octagon fret inlays and a nice set of trusty Grover tuners. Just a great guitar, with tons of vibe and balanced tone! This one has been played nicely, so the tone has matured over the years. There is also a passive pickup that was installed somewhere along the way... so the lower strap peg is also the input jack if you feel like plugging her in! She's otherwise all original and as sweet as it gets!!

She just celebrated her 38th birthday and has been played through the years. There are numerous nicks and scratches... as well as some finish checking on the top.
There are no cracks or issues with the guitar however... she's in very nice condition for her age. Despite the comestic flaws mentioned, the guitar really does have a very clean apearance. The neck is straight with no cracks or repairs... The frets are strong, with plenty of life ahead of them... and the sound is as sweet as it gets Also included is the Martin hard shell case (shown in the pics). I believe this guitar is supposed to come with a blue fur lined Martin case, so it is likely that this is a newer case. The strap which supports the lid (to keep it opened at a 90 angle) is no longer in place, so the lid opens all the way (to a 180 angle). The case is otherwise very clean and all of the latches are working properly. Whoever wins this sweet guitar is going to be STOKED!!
