RARE!!
You're looking at a 2009 Gibson Les Paul 1956 Historic, with a Black Top, Walnut Back, Gloss finish and tones of tone! I'm sure you've already figured out how rare this axe is, as Gibson just does not do R6's with Black tops and Walnut backs. Gibson was not able to confirm this either way, but it is very likely that this is a "one-off" custom ordered piece. Very Very cool! The action is smooth and low... and the P-90's really crank! This is an awesome axe folks! She's 100% original, and 100% unmessed with!

She was born born in 2009 and has been totally babied! I actually purchased this guitar, new, from the original retailer back in 2009, and then sold the guitar to a local collector/friend of mine. He has about 60 guitars, and just did not play this one much at all. There is no playwear of any kind on this sweet axe. The neck is straight, with no cracks or repairs... the frets are perfect, with their entire life ahead of them... and the sound is as sweet as it gets! Also included is the original Gibson Custom Shop hard shell case, and even includes the case candy and Certificate of Authenticity, just as shown in the last picture!
