In 2007, Fender reproduced exact replica's of Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar, which he affectionately referred to as "Lenny". These guitars were exclusively built by Fender's Master Builders. This one was built by the great John Cruz, who is widely believed to be one of Fender's best builders. Only 235 of these guitars were built, and of these 235, only 185 were released in the USA. When this was first released, the selling price was $17,000... and that is exactly what people paid (including the original buyer of this one!) She was born on November 29th, 2007 and has not been played. I just picked this up from the original owner, who purchased the guitar for $17,000 back in 2008. He only purchased this as a collectible, and did not play even a single note. The guitar is as perfect as the day she was born! Also included is the original heavy duty roadcase, with "Stevie Ray Vaughan" stenciled on top the lid, and "Hurricane" stenciled on the bottom lid. The case still has the original factory plastic coating on it! All of the case candy, DVD's strap, factory cable and the special Leather-bound Certificate of Authenticity is also included!
