1966 Fender Deluxe Reverb

VINTAGE GREATNESS! NOT A REISSUE! THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!

You are looking at a 1966 Fender Deluxe Reverb guitar amp. Before I begin this laborious task of describing this old gem, I want to preface by stating that I AM NO EXPERT ON AMPS... I am a guitar guy... and yes... we all need amps to play through...I just don't have the background that I'm sure some of you folks out there possess. That being said, here are the facts as I understand them. The original Fender speaker in the amp is marked # 405-543... which indicates that the speaker was made in the 43rd week of 1965, although the transformers' #'s indicate this amp is a 1966 production. If you are one of the experts I mentioned above, you are aware that 1966 is the 2nd year after Fender was bought out by CBS (just a bit of trivia for those who care). For the people who like sound instead of trivia, you will be glad to know that this amp has an incredible bluesy tone and a vibe that just can not be reproduced by a knock-off reissue. This is the real deal and very collectable! For those of you who are concerned about all of the stamps and #'s... I've included some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

  • Serial # A13327

She is just about to celebrate her 44th birthday and has apparently been very well cared for. I was only 5 years old when this baby was built, and the 1st super-bowl wasn't even played yet!! This baby looks better than some 5 year old amps that I've seen! I just picked her up from a very good repeat client of mine, who seems to only buy the best stuff... This is amp is a gem and will be a great addition to any collector's or players arsenal. She's in great condition with some minor scuffs and a couple of small tears on the bottom tolex. The foot-pedal is also included. WHOEVER wins this auction is going to be STOKED!!
